Let’s talk about impostor syndrome. It seems we all face it at some point during our lives, and lately, it’s almost like everyone has the same fears of being inadequate. Am I doing my job right? Am I really talented? Am I really deserving of everything I have? These are just some of the questions that can plague our mind if we give in to impostor syndrome. Unfortunately, if we begin to believe these self-doubts, we might run into actual problems that hinder our progress through life.
In this episode, we’ll go through different strategies to combat this inescapable part of being alive. I’ll give you actionable steps to realize that no one is scrutinizing your every move, and that you’re indeed a talented, well-rounded person whose achievements are worth celebrating. We’ll focus on progress over perfection and on challenging negative self talk. We’ll make sure you have the tools to step outside of that self–defeating rut you might find yourself in.
If you need a little help getting started, I’ve made you a progress journal below you can follow to start tracking your own successes. Send me a message to let me know if this is something you have found helpful in dealing with Impostor Syndrome.
